Punch launches machine initiative

Punch Taverns, one of the UK’s leading pub companies, has launched a new Machine Reporting Suite for its Partners to maximise their machine activity and income.

Launched on 3rd June, Punch Partners can now access these reports exclusively through the Punch Buying Club website.

Partners will be able to log in and view their machine history for their pub to understand how much profit from machines they are making as well as easily identifying trends to maximise their machine profitability.

This new feature will also be accessible to pub accountants where requested, and will also provide financial information relating to Machine Games Duty & VAT.

Julie Clamp, Machines Development Manager at Punch Taverns, said: “This industry-leading tool has been launched as a direct request from our Partners, a number have found Machine Games Duty difficult to understand and account for and fits within our strategy to provide greater, more personal support for our partners.

“This functionality it is free and can be accessed 24/7 and it is very simple to navigate. Partners can easily move between top level or machine-specific data to review their overall machines offer and it can particularly save Partners time when completing tax returns.

“This software can really help Partners to drive their machine income and encourages discussions with their Partnership Development Manager (PDM) or machine supplier for advice on the machine suitability and how best to make the most from them.

“This forms part of our overall offer of support services on the Punch Buying Club website, such as line cleaning reports, which have proved really popular as our partners like the fact that we can offer them access to this type of information in a simple way and convenient way to improve their business.”

The award-winning Punch Buying Club website also offers a range of resources, support tools and advice across different business issues, including commercial and licensing guidance.
