Punch Taverns have announced their Roadshow dates for 2013 and includes new venues and an additional event.
In their 10th year running, the Punch Roadshows will be starting on 1st October in Newcastle and running up until 31st October where they finish at Chester.
Andy Slee, External Affairs and Central Operations Director said “We are delighted to be in our tenth year of the Punch Roadshows. Over the last nine years, we have seen 60,000 publicans through the doors and around 900,000 food and drink products sampled.
“Every year, we have seen the Roadshows grow in popularity and footfall. Last year, 54 per cent of our Partners attended, with 80 per cent attendance at Chester racecourse alone. In response to Partner feedback, we have two new shows in the South East, Wembley Stadium and Sandown Park, which will cut down travel time considerably.
“We have been overwhelmed by the amount of suppliers who want to be involved. In fact, there will be a lot of new suppliers for 2013 and all of our venues are fully booked.”
This year’s shows will feature over 130 industry-leading suppliers, ranging from food and drink to support services. Visitors also have the chance to meet members of the Punch Taverns team and operating board
Punch will also be continuing its £5 million giveaway and each Punch Partner will receive a voucher booklet which entitles them to redeem a range of offers, such as free glassware or free bar staff training support.
“Ten years demonstrates the commitment from Partners and also the support from Punch that continues to make the Roadshows a success,” Andy continued.
“This year looks to be bigger and better and we look forward to the start of what is expected to be our most successful series of Roadshows yet.”
The Roadshows take place nationwide and each event will open at 10:30am and finish at 4pm.
The dates are as follows: 1st October at Newcastle Racecourse; 3rd October at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh; 8th October at Wembley stadium; 10th October at Elland Road in Leeds; 15th October at the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum; 17th October at Sandown Park; 24th October at Ashton Gate in Bristol; 24th October at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton; 29th October at Donnington Park and 31st October at Chester Racecourse.
