Burton based pub company Punch Taverns has donated nearly £800 worth of gifts to the Queens Hospital Neonatal Unit.
Punch donated the brand new gifts, including a play table, pram and Disney DVDs to the Neonatal Unit, which looks after premature babies, after raising the money from its annual Easter raffle at its support centre in Centrum 100.
The unit, which currently looking after 10 babies from as young as 30 weeks, will use some of the gifts to keep older siblings entertained and others, including feeding pillows, will be used by new mums.
Neonatal Unit Manager, Anne Picken, said: “We are really grateful to Punch for donating these items, which have been on our ‘wishlist’ for a while. All the families here will appreciate them, especially our younger visitors, coming to see their new brothers and sisters on the ward.”
