Punch funds day trip for local school

122 Children went on the trip in October.

Happy Days, a children’s charity organisation which provides holidays, residential breaks and day trips to children with disabilities or have been abused.

Ryan Sinclair, Chief Executive Officer of Happy Days, said: “Punch Taverns regularly contribute towards the charity as part of their Punch Community Promise. Over the years, I’m pleased to say that there have been in excess of 150 local children who have benefited from our joint efforts.

“Day trips like this are great morale boosters for the children and it has meant a lot to the parents and teachers as they come home with a more positive attitude and an improved physical and mental well-being – as well as having lots of fun.”

Employees from Punch Taverns visited the school: “Punch is delighted to support this very worthwhile cause.  It was lovely to meet some of the children who benefitted from the trip and hear about the fun they had at the theme park,” said Jo Navin, Internal Communications Manager for Punch Taverns.
